body in time.
In conjunction with the launch of the publication Sam Jinks: Body in Time, the Shepparton Art Museum had presented an exhibition of the same title as the first major survey of one of Australia's most exciting and important contemporary sculptors, Sam Jinks.
Spanning the period 2007 to 2012, the show includes eleven of Jinks' astonishing, hyper-realist sculptures of of humans and animals that oscillate between the empathic, the poetic and the profoundly unsettling.
Body in Time features some of the artist's most iconic works.
